Ыйык Куранالغاشية - Al-Ghashiyah
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَـٰشِيَةِ
Халь Атака Хадисуль-Гашийа.
Has the news of the Overwhelming Event reached you ˹O Prophet˺?
Surah: 88 | Ayah 1
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَـٰشِعَةٌ
Вуджухум Йаума`изин Хаши`а.
On that Day ˹some˺ faces will be downcast,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 2
عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ
`Амилятун Насиба.
˹totally˺ overburdened, exhausted,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 3
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ
Тасля Нараан Хамийа.
burning in a scorching Fire,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 4
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍۢ
Туска Мин `Айнин Анийа.
left to drink from a scalding spring.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 5
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍۢ
Ляйса Ляхум Та`амун Илля Мин Дарии`.
They will have no food except a foul, thorny shrub,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 6
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ
Ля Йусмину Уа Ля Йугни Мин Джуу`.
neither nourishing nor satisfying hunger.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 7
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ
Вуджухун Йаума`изин На`има.
On that Day ˹other˺ faces will be glowing with bliss,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 8
لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۭ ٩
Лиса`йиха Радыйа.
˹fully˺ pleased with their striving,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 9
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ
Фи Джаннатин `Алийа.
in an elevated Garden,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 10
where no idle talk will be heard.
Ля Тасма`у Фиха Лягийа.
where no idle talk will be heard.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 11
فِيهَا عَيْنٌۭ جَارِيَةٌۭ
Фиха `Айнун Джарийа.
In it will be a running spring,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 12
فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ
Фиха Сурурун Марфу`а.
along with thrones raised high,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 13
وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ
Уа Акуабун Мауду`а.
and cups set at hand,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 14
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ
Уа Намарику Масфуфа.
and ˹fine˺ cushions lined up,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 15
وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
Уа Зарабийу Мабсуса.
and ˹splendid˺ carpets spread out.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 16
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
Афаля Йанзуруна Иляль-Ибили Кайфа Хуликат.
Do they not ever reflect on camels—how they were ˹masterfully˺ created;1
Surah: 88 | Ayah 17
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
Уа Иляс-Сама`и Кайфа Руфи`ат.
and the sky—how it was raised ˹high˺;
Surah: 88 | Ayah 18
وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
Уа Иляль-Джибали Кайфа Нусибат.
and the mountains—how they were firmly set up;
Surah: 88 | Ayah 19
وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
Уа Иляль-Арды Кайфа Сутихат.
and the earth—how it was levelled out?
Surah: 88 | Ayah 20
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌۭ
Фазаккир Иннама Анта Музаккир.
So, ˹continue to˺ remind ˹all, O Prophet˺, for your duty is only to remind.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 21
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
Ляста `Алейхим Бимусайтыр.
You are not ˹there˺ to compel them ˹to believe˺.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 22
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
Илля Ман Тауалля Уа Кафар.
But whoever turns away, persisting in disbelief,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 23
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ
Файу`аззибухуЛлахуль-`Азабаль-Акбар.
then Allah will inflict upon them the major punishment.
Surah: 88 | Ayah 24
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ
Инна Иляйна Ийабахум.
Surely to Us is their return,
Surah: 88 | Ayah 25
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم
Сумма Инна `Алейна Хисабахум.
then surely with Us is their reckoning.
